How to pay for college

Frostburg State University offers a quality education at a great value! About 74% of undergraduates receive some form of financial assistance through scholarships, grants, loans and campus employment.

The most important step in applying for financial aid is to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA allows you to qualify for a wide variety of need-based assistance and you cannot receive financial aid until this form has been processed.

Scholarships are an excellent way to make your college experience more affordable. You'll be considered for some scholarships automatically when you're accepted to Frostburg State. For other departmental and institutional scholarships, you can apply on AcademicWorks.
